Target Group:
Individuals who wish to gain the required skills and knowledge needed to achieve the standards of competence to safely produce lead roofing components by welding and bossing techniques.
Duration:
Five days Candidates will be required to provide appropriate PPE (overalls and protective footwear) Other PPE will be provided by the College Course Times are 9.00am – 4.30pm each day All catering will be included Please report to the main reception on the first day of the course
Certification:
Achievement will be measured by a practical test of the trainees ability to manufacture a range of sheet lead components The candidate will be assessed by oral and written questions to verify their understanding of related knowledge necessary to safely and satisfactorily undertake lead welding and bossing techniques in the fabrication of lead sheet components On verification of successful achievement candidates will be issued a Training Certificate by the Lead Sheet Association with a copy of the record of assessment This will provide entry to the Leadworkers Certificate Course
