As an effective project manager, you organise scarce resources, work under tight deadlines, control project change and generate maximum team performance. Throughout the course you will learn how to successfully plan, manage and deliver projects. You also learn how to implement project management processes, develop leadership skills and respond to real-world scenarios.  In addition, the course will introduce you to various tools including MS Project. At the end of the course, you should have a toolbox full of templates, checklists and procedures in order to implement your own project management system back at the office.

Course Content: 

 You will learn how to: Consider Project, Program and Portfolio Management; Implement a Project Management Methodology and structure (Prince2 & APM); Recognise and practice the leadership skills needed to run a motivated team; Plan a project to ensure successful delivery and stakeholder satisfaction; Estimate and schedule task work and duration with confidence; Communicate, manage and control a project using MS Project; Implement risk management techniques and mitigation strategies; Implement monitoring tools and controls to keep you fully in command of the project.
